well, it's gonna be 97 tomorrow...

99 here in Minnesota today. I remember doing a 4th of July outdoor show in St. Louis one year and it was triple digits and the summer humidity to boot. We drank water by the gallon because it seemed like it was just coming right back out through the pores, god awful miserable weather.

I'm currently on a 9 day stretch of work in Shreveport LA. 8-12 hours a day always outdoors besides a few minutes here and there in vehicles.

Heat is no joke. Stay hydrated!!!

yeah I hate Chicago summers

I never thought I'd say it, but I miss Chicago summers: although the heat and humidity stink (particularly on the Red Line surrounded by sweaty Sox fans), by September or October you're almost guaranteed to have nice, cool autumn days and nights. Now that I left Lincoln Park for Austin...shoot, Texas doesn't DO autumn!

ah, Missouri, where you can have all 4 seasons in a day!

it is a bit swampy here lately......maybe we'll get snow next week...

High of 78 with 80% humidity in LA tomorrow. Good thing it's a surf day tomorrow.

But hey, at least none of us are in Connecticut, where it can be like 95 and raining all day.

Looking forward to catching some sand in my toes tomorrow as well! If I leave early enough it should be a RELATIVELY smooth ride from Burbank.

Definitely not missing this:
