Well this should be interesting lol

My next gig

I’m excited yet scared lol

Fetish dress code?

Positive thing is the guy who sets up these shows does a good job promoting and taking care of the bands and they usually are well attended.

I’m sure some folks will want pictures. I’ll see what I can do but don’t want to come off as a weirdo. Lol

As many have said, you don't need to be sacred or nervous. People in the lifestyle are by and large regular people who happen to have different "personal" tastes than most. You'll be surprised how accepting they are. You will for sure see things that make you go Ewwwww.... Then again you will see things that make you go Oooooo. ;)

When it comes to taking photos, well, as much as we would love to see a well documented photo essay of a decidedly different gig, if phones/cameras are allowed in at all you will definitely want to get consent from the people you photograph prior to doing it. No doubt you would find plenty of people happy to pose though.

I predict you will have a blast and come away from this gig feeling glad you did it.

Oh, as far as what to wear, you don't need to dress in fetish wear, especially since you're not taking part in any activities. You certainly CAN dress the part for fun but simply wearing all black (and not necessarily leather) you will quietly blend in just fine.

Dude, no worries.
You're the bass player and nobody usually notices us anyway.
Then again last gig I had a 20 something year old cute girl rubbing her butt back and forth on my bass during our final song. My only concern was, do I back away and have the bass lines clearly heard or go ahead an allow the muffled sound of my instrument with her butt on it. Gotta please the fans so I didn't back away but it was incredibility hard to concentrate on my bass lines with mini skirt girl practically assaulting my bass.

Not her but similar

Frankly there aren’t any yet outside of occasional things. Has been a dry area until fairly recently so I’m hoping it’ll pick up soon. We normally drive To Greensboro or chapel hill. Is Fayetteville home to a good scene now?
Fayetteville is hit or miss but it’s where most of our gigs are. If you’re from out of town and don’t have a fan base in Fayetteville I recommend playing places like Macs or Paddy’s. You’ll be background music basically but they have a regular crowd. The best PA in town is at the DHP but it’s in a shady area and people generally don’t go there to see bands they haven’t heard before. We also play Jacksonville, Wilmington, Raleigh, and occasionally Charlotte and Myrtle beach

Ok guys loaded in and I don’t know if I can say this on TB but holy poopie!!! There is some freaky stuff going on. Particularly for those into spanking and torture tables. They even have a 7 foot tall cage which has me wondering what the hell they are gonna do with that. Should be a good one money wise as well. Well over a grand in presale tickets alone. VIP is sold out. Plenty of contacts today that are paying at the door. Unfortunately I don’t feel comfortable taking pictures. What I will do for you guys is post any pictures the event organizers post that way I’m being respectful of these peoples privacy
As others have mentioned I don’t want to piss anyone off or get anyone fired from their jobs and think taking a bunch of pictures tonight would hurt my bands ability to make new fans.
