I bet I know half a dozen or more that will go to this. Fayettenam has an active fet scene for sure. Should be fun and full of nice people. I doubt anything too strange will be on display unless you go looking for it.

I once played a venue where once the bands were finished, the staff started attaching black vinyl to all the walls. I thought this was weird, but when leaving I saw their weekly schedule board. This was a Friday. Monday was pub quiz night, Sunday was sports day on a big screen, Saturday was S**, P*** & Bondage Night.

Sounds like fun! There's nothing to be scared about - informed, willing consent is fundamental in the BDSM scene, and the mantra is "safe, sane and consensual." The worst that's likely to happen is that you'll discover some fetishes that you can't unsee.
Take an open mind, leave your camera at home, and you should have a great time.
About taking photos at events like this: if you do take them, and publish them, you could out people who really don't need their closed-minded boss/family/whoever to know they're into the scene. You could destroy somebody's career and/or their family relationships, so if you do pull out a camera, you'll come across as a lot worse than a weirdo.
This actually happened in Sydney (Australia) when Facebook screwed up their privacy controls, and a bunch of photos from a kink event were made public. The fallout was... not good, and not reversible.

I like the “EMT” on site part. Don’t think that I ever played a gig where an emt was part of the staff.
I did a gig very similar to yours back in 2016. It was a real mix of stuff: 3 heavy rock bands, art exhibition room, BDSM exhibition room, belly dancers (one of whom did a bit with swords) and even a “dark clown” walking around creeping people out. Or at least creeping me out. The gig actually turned out very well. The band I was in was up first, so I had plenty of time to people watch after our set. It was an interesting experience to say the least.
