Well this should be interesting lol

My next gig

I’m excited yet scared lol

Fetish dress code?

Positive thing is the guy who sets up these shows does a good job promoting and taking care of the bands and they usually are well attended.

I’m sure some folks will want pictures. I’ll see what I can do but don’t want to come off as a weirdo. Lol

Don't be afraid. I have some friends in that scene and they get that us vanilla folks aren't into their style of fun. You may have trouble concentrating and you'll probably see stuff you really don't want to see. I never accepted any invitations to their events, but have met some of their other friends and while they're actually very nice people, I had no interests in even seeing any of them in costume, let alone what they do to each other - the stories made me cringe enough - and my friends have shared many stories.

You might get invitations (my friends regularly tried to convert me), but nobody will spank you or otherwise harm you without your consent. As you can imagine, this scene dances around a lot of laws so the people are pretty careful not to offend anyone.

Pictures of patrons are probably pretty much a no-no. I would definitely ask before you whip out our camera.

I'll send ya 20 dollars if you go and play dressed like this:

Wear leather shorts, a MAGA hat, mesh tank top, and hot glue "marital aids" to the amp you are using that night.

I mean I've gone to fetish clubs before bc a chick I was with at the time was into it.

Anyone gets out of line do not hit them and scream "BAD DOG you sick F", the results were the opposite of what I'm used to.

I played a private party for that kind of crowd once. They seem to get that not everyone is into it.

I just wore black leather pants and a mesh tank top. (A look I could pull off with long hair at 25 years old.)

They were cool. Most of the weird stuff happened behind the scenes. I have seen much more "slutty" behavior from rich preppy college girls at a regular nightclub.

These folks usually just want to have their kind of fun without being pointed at or laughed at. So they throw their own parties where they can enjoy each other's company.

I neither condone nor condemn. But they seemed like nice people.

It's not as though they'll start randomly whipping you or anything.
