Were you dead before you were born (or conceived)?

Question is meaningless. Predicates have to have objects to apply to. There was no "me" to have the property of "dead" or "not-dead".

(That in itself doesn't exclude the idea of a pre-existing "soul", as "part of me" is not "me").

UncleFluffy must know what he's talking about because of all the quotation marks and junk....... and uh..... stuff.

I think there is no term for before we are here, other than "before we are here" of course. So, I'm in the not dead before birth camp.

(Now those are some words I never thought I would string into sentences.)

You did exist before you were born.

First in an orange tree.

Than your father's balls.

Every atom in our bodies existed way before we were born.We are actually made of stardust.Poetic science FTW!

What makes me up existed prior, but me, as a whole, me as a human, never existed. Think of humans as a smoothie, the smoothie did not exist, but the ingredients such as strawberries, bananas, milk, and yogurt, did exist.

Dead, dead, dead, I say. Dead.
