Curiosity, why would one use a b string above the 14th fret?Not a 100% sure it’s mass produced but still can’t figure out how to use the B string from fret 14 and up on this :

). Top is a Terminator 5. It's a series he does. The bottom one, Thuya Bass, has a whammy bar and Sustainiac. It's one-of-a-kind.

I can only imagine the number of times in the '50's an upright player saw a p-bass and said: "WHAT THE *!@$#* IS THAT?!?!?!?!"

I have one of these. Difficult to play but sounds really nice when you get it going.
Musicvox space ranger? Guitar tuners (that disintegrated over time) , guitar-ish humbuckers, neck dive for days, 30" scale. Super muddy, ridiculously hot output. Mine is sunburst with a trapeze/rosewood bridge that was tacked down about 1/4" too sharp
Surprisingly I still love it. Bought it mail order when they first came out (98) and were cheap at 300-350 bucks.
Looks like it was copied directly from an elementary school-kid's notebook doodles.

They tried three different body styles with this bass and it still never caught on. I love them.

Why do you think there would be any problem?
The Italia basses have very similar stylings throughout their line.

Mine is missing the covers, the label and the bridge has been swapped for a BA, so its not quite as “wacky”
I realize my "entries" were not mass produced but at least they were made by luthiers of some repute...
