What are songs are you working on

It`s an on-and-off gradual progression for me,my ADHD makes it a bugger to nail down a given set of songs sometimes...yes,I`m that guy. :scowl:

"Stuck In the Middle With You" -by Steelers Wheel

"Avalon" -by Roxy Music - Seems easy...wrong! Very subtle,quick little hammer ons,timing quirks.Cool tune though.

"Living On a Prayer" -by Bonjovi - I`ll get hella chicks when I finally learn it,right??? :P

"Silly Love Songs" -by Paul McCartney and Wings - PM`s bassline is simple(again,WRONG!),but his timing infuses his bassline with real depth,imho.Was playing it decent,began overthinking it...now I`m sucking.

"Lovecats", "Lullaby" -by The Cure - They make it look easy.I`m discovering it is not.

The main one is Omnipresent Perception by Beyond Creation.
There are only a few things I need to get cleaner and then it's on to getting the sweeps down.

If I can nail this song I will die a happy bassist :p

Also working on finishing off the myriad of unfinished songs for my band (as well as writing yet more).

I just got back into playing bass after a 30 yr absence. I am currently working on Ain't No Fun to Me - Larry Graham, Give it Away, Higher Ground - Chili Peppers, Primary - The Cure, Blood and Roses - Smithereens, Thankyou for Lettin' Me Be Myself, Higher, Everyday People, Dance to The Music - Sly & Family Stone, and a bunch of worship tunes for my church. Some times I just play along with an iTunes playlist just to get the fingers moving and stretching again. It's going to take a while to get back into the groove.:):bassist::cool:

YYZ, still.

Heart of the Sunrise. That solo section is killer.

Crossroads by Cream (the first live version). I'm trying to work out the interaction in the dueling solos between Bruce and Clapton. Not trying to copy, just trying to figure out how they make it fit. Wild stuff.

Started working with some guys from Laos 3 -4 months back. We have our 3rd gig this Sat. and here are the latest we're working on loosely translated (I hope!):

- Xang Beer Woman
- The Taxi Life
- The King of Down Money
- Chang Beer with Crying (named after a Thai dish, maybe?)
- The Dog Barking The Plane
