What bass do you hate the most?

So far I have seen more hate directed at this thread than at individual basses. For that matter, most of the argumentitive-ness is coming from the ones that say this thread should be closed.
Now, on topic: Don't hate bass (the instrument or the fish)- hate something that deserves it- like people who blow themselves up because they think it will send them to a heaven with 72 virgins. Though they are fun to shoot.
That said- please don't flame me about bigotry, as the key phrase in that sentance was BLOW THEMSELVES UP. On second thought, flame away.

Why don't we have them change the name from TalkBass to ArgueBass. Really that's what half of you do on here. If you think this is a stupid thread why not just pass it by? Just think, you could spent that time playing your Bass. If you did that you could learn what the first inversion of a C Maj cord is rather then bashing someone for starting a thread. WOW just think about it, the time you spent here saying I hope this thread ends you could have learned how to play in a flat key without tuning down.
And all you "this thread sucks" guys, please tell us all what the last mind provoking thread was that you started?

I was researching a product on TB the other day, and came across "the A word" a few times.
This reminds me of a story...
Back in 1991 I was playing bass on a cruise ship, sailing around the Caribbean and the Mexican Riviera for months on end. One of the visiting artists" I accompanied was Turkish pianist Naki Attaman. Naki's been around the world. A lot. He's played in probably every country on the planet. And whenever one of the guys in the band would get bent out of shape about a port day in, say, Martinique or Aruba (I know they sound romantic, but some of those islands really are dumps once you get past the resort hotels), Naki would calmly point out "Anyone who thinks this place is a dump has clearly never been to Madagascar."
And so (bringing it back on topic), along similar lines, I would like to opine that Anyone Who Hates (insert name of bass cited in this thread) Has Clearly Never Played A Rickenbacker 3001.
Worst. Bass. Ever.
That is all.

Nothing wrong with shooting them...they obviously aren't too concerned for their own well being to begin with...
I don't see why everyone is all up in arms about "Oh! You shouldn't hate a bass!" Do you drive a car? Do you ever see a really really ugly car that drives by and sounds horrible and just think "I hate those cars." Same thing.
Me personally...I've never been able to get into Warwicks. I've tried, but I just can't get over how harsh the treble controls are. Not to mention you go to Guitar Center, and the $4000 Wick on the special wall display doesn't play or sound as good as the $700 beat up used Fender.
At least you didn't say Sadowsky... when anyone in here says that sort of thing the Sadacolytes tear their clothes, go on hunger strike, and vow to hunt you down and string you up using your choice of flatwounds.
The Ric-o-philes are pretty bad too but them Sadacolytes...
