What bass do you plan to get next?

My next bass will be... at my door today. I've been acquiring them right and left. I see them and I feel the need to give them homes. You know how it is.

Considering a trade for a Schecter Diamond J 5...didn't know it had the 35" scale.

One should never say never, but I'd like to think I'm done. I have a P and a J (both 75s) that are both great basses. And despite having spent a bit more on them than I like to think about, quite often I reach for my late 90s Hamer 2TEK Cruise. Sometimes I feel like I could had just as easily played every gig left in me on that bass.

I'm looking to head to a music store (or worse, GC) with my buddy to try a Squier Jazz. If I like it enough I'll sell my Indonesian Peavey Millennium 5 for it. If I'm feeling really crazy I might dump the Ampeg combo too.

I recently tried out a Fender Aerodyne Jazz. I *really* liked it a lot. Not that I need or can afford it... Lol.

Currently have 3 basses. 4 string P-J bass, 4 string Squier J-bass, 5-string Yamaha BB425 P-J bass.

I am eyeing for an active bass for now if I have the money. Particularly Sire V7 & M7 basses.

Actually I am also wanting that Maruzycyk Elwood bass with Delano pickup+coil tap & John East Uni-Pre. Looks so versatile and sounded great.

I got my next bass today. An Epiphone EB-3. It's a great bass.

Nope, this was your LAST bass. Your next one is the one in your future, the inevitable result of GAS, the one you'll decide to get after playing the EB-3 for a little while.
Sweet choice though. Shiny.... drool

My next bass, (a used Spector NS-2) is in the brown truck on its way to me as I type this.

My next would be to try and talk Pat Wilkins into making me a roasted, natural, 5 string unlined fretless. Pickups/Preamp TBD. After the 2 Wilkins basses I currently have, I don't really think of other bass brands much anymore....

Thinking about a Lakland USA Classic 44-94 - it's a US made model, a step down, limited options model from their flagship line of P and J style basses. Not much info or review material online.
