what bass is that?

so i was going through some Depeche mode videos and during this song



i noticed that Andy Fletcher is holding a very unique looking bass, at 1:35, 1:36-1:37, and at 4:32-4:33 you can get a good look at it

i was just wondering what type of bass that is...

My guess is that that is an old video. The Bison basses to the best of my knowledge have only recently been reissued, so there is a good chance that it's a vintage one in the video.

Some of the Burns basses (like my Barracuda reissue) have a scroll headstock like that. Tis a lovely thing!

well the video was shot around 1997 and by that time depeche mode was a very recognized all over Brittan.
