Very tasty @Spidey2112. They had a sweet, lightweight P in that exact model at my local for the longest time that just killed, but I wasn't able to bring it home. Those Custom shop 60's P pickups don't get near enough love around here as far as I'm concerned. Definitely on the wish list....Fender AVRI '62 Jazz...

So just wanted to tell you that honestly you should have confidence in your bass and your gear. If you feel good about your tone and trust your gear then it allows you to develop as a musician a lot faster. So if you want a sun bursted jazz GO FOR IT!!!! WHATEVER YOUR HEART DESIRES! I should know, I had to develop a tone from a 60$ korean bass with a bad fret and super high, stiff action. After years and some learning how to tinker with guitars I was able to make it playable enough to where I even impressed some real pros with my playing and the tones coming from that cheapo bass most people would pass off. I got to jam on the guy's vintage Steinburger headless bass that costs about as much as 10 of mine. But point being, if you have a chance to get the fender jazz you love, GET IT and see what you sound like! You'll be amazed!!!!!!Im eyeing the wine red Jack Casady Ephiphone almost daily and its getting harder to resist.
Also wanted a Fender Jazz sunburst since I was like 12y old.
But just recently started playing and I feel like I have to deserve getting new gear by getting better at playing first even tho I have some money put aside for them.
LOVE this color. I would pick up w/ a maple neck for sure for all of my Prince songs!!!Top of my wish list would be very much along these lines... not that I’m looking, honest. If it said Sandberg on the headstock that would be fine too...
