Hop Stoopid is a little much on the IBUs for me, but I love their regular IPA, as well as their Imperial Stout.
I had a Bavarian Style Doppleweissen yesterday that was really good.
Also, last week while in NC I had a few local brews on tap at Taco Mac.
Highlands Chocolate Porter was good.
DuckRabbit Stout wasnt bad.
I dont recall the bewer of the last one, but it was an 11% Barrel Aged Stout (not from NC) and was SO good!

Boatswain HLV Ale (Heavy Lift Vessel) 7%
Only slightly syrupy, good hops edge, but not overboard. It went well with my cream of chicken and rice soup for dinner, and the oreos I'm having for dessert!

Racer 5 IPA.... Again.
I had one Racer 5 left in the fridge from last night. Got home from work at 10pm tonight and found my wife had drunk it
Fortunately, I hit the store on the way home. I'll have to start on the Three Philosophers instead...

Been on a Smuttynose odyssey lately, including their Robust Porter which was my nightly drink last week. It's big and flavorful yet still easy to drink. Love it. Had a S'muttonator" which is a big doppelbock that I've been looking for a long time. I found it to be different from most doppels I've tried, but in a good way. Also had their "Homunculus" Belgian golden ale which was also very good.
Last night I did a bomber of Rogue Dead Guy, a springtime fave of mine. I have a Westmalle Triple that I'm hankering for along with plenty of others in the wings. Later......

Warsteiner Dunkel, which has become a "stand by" for me. I don't know beer like I know wine and scotch, so when I find something I like, I don't want to experiment on the unknown.

North-Wind Imperial Stout
9.1% Alc/Vol
Small brewery in Warrenville, IL.
Just found out this North-Wind is a seasonal beer. Better go back and look for a couple more cases. Just amazingly good.
Of course, that is my opinion. You might not like it at all.
I got a North Wind as an extra in a trade a few weeks ago. First one I've had since I moved from Chicago. Pretty good. If you like that, you'll love Bell's Expedition Stout.
