This is what happened the first time I drank these. It's really that good.

Can't see it but I'll definitely remember that beer next time I go shopping. We have a two nice beer shops around, one holds 400 kinds of beer and the other close to 800, so there might be slim chances I can get some.

It doesn't matter, you cheated! There's still beer in one :ninja:

While I'm on the matter, can you guys recommend me a few american beers to look out for? I really need to get some of your good stuff, because you're commercial beer is just horrible ;)

I was still drinking the last one. Jeesh. :D

Well I would highly recommend this Nectar IPA. Just looked it up. Brewed with hemp. Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA, their Hop Rod Ale is good too. Deschuttes Mirror Pond Pale Ale. Deschuttes Inversion. That'll get you started. Go.

I've cut back considerably in my beer drinking (down to about 3 a week from 12+)

I usually abstain during the week unless I'm out at a restaurant or bar with something special.

Tomorrow, I drink. Was lucky enough to get some of this smuggled back to me from Chicago: Invalid Link Removed

now THAT sounds good.

The Walkerville Brewery in my town has been re-opened. So far they're selling one style of beer (year-round) which is an oktoberfest, I got a growler of it and I like it. They've also got a fall seasonal called "autumn rye ale", I'm going to be going there on wednesday to get it filled up with that, I've heard it's pretty good. I don't think Ontario's ever going to be at a level similar to the US, but we're certainly improving.

I doubt they get any of that in Quebec.

Beeradvocate has a really nice tool for searching breweries and pubs and stores in your area. I've got Quebec pulled up right here for you: Invalid Link Removed

Ziltoid, if you want good recommendations on any beer and are from Quebec City Area, you should ask the people at Le Monde Des Bières. The probably carry good beer from the states and have a immence choice, and the clercks knows what they talk about when you ask them.

So I did a little bit of research, and none of the beers and breweries you guys mentioned so far are available here.

Heck, on of the Link Removed has 797 different beers (biggest selection in Canada) right now and there doesn't seems to be many (any?) from the states.

Brasseurs du monde as mentionned by Jebberz does not carry any worth mentioning.

Looks like I'll have to stay ignorant about American beers.

797 different beers and not a single one from the US?
Thats a huge fail if ever there was one. All of our beer shops carry not only all kinds of awesome US Brews, but many more from other countries.
