797 different beers and not a single one from the US?
Thats a huge fail if ever there was one. All of our beer shops carry not only all kinds of awesome US Brews, but many more from other countries.

Yeah, it's mainly beers from the Quebec Province, a few international ones. We have so many good beers, no need to look elsewhere :smug:

I could go the rest of my life drinking only California brewed beers and be quite happy, with plenty of variance.
But why limit myself to only regional beers when there are great suds being brewed all around the world?

The problem is the availibility... all alchool in Quebec must be imported thriugh SAQ, a provincial organism who regulates (and sells) alchool. They also apply a lot of taxes over importations, so I guess it is more profitable to sell local product than imported ones. And you cannot import outside the system.
 
Tried a new brew from Newcastle. It's okay. I love the original Newcastle brew.
