Today you learned that?TIL there really are some truly bad drummers out there.

Perhaps on basses (I've never had the opportunity to try one), but I have never had an issue with my 12-string guitar. It felt totally natural from the first time I took it off the wall to try at Schoenberg Guitars.Switching to fanned frets is easy below the octave, but gets tricky in the upper registers.
Well, to be honest about it, yes, I've known that for decades, but that video really proves the point.Today you learned that?![]()

You have to think that someone won a bet on that one...I couldn’t finish it. I just couldn’t.
How everyone else in that room did is beyond me.
we know things instinctively but Never give it much thought. I have been on chemotherapy for the past 3 months and during this time I have spent a lot of time reading articles and bio information on the greatest Jazz Stars. one of the dumb things that I always assumed was the great jazz Stars never bothered to learn to read music or write down their thoughts and transcript. The other day I read capital c o l t r i a n s transcripts of Giant Steps. I had an epiphany these old greats were monsters with music theory. They did not just come by it playing and Smoky clubs and doing drugs. Sometimes the obvious just needs to come up and slap you in the face.
I liked everything in this post except the chemo part.
Wishes for a speedy recovery.
Thank you sir...that's the plan.
Check the Miles Davis bio if you get a chance.
Maybe, you can get through this one?I couldn’t finish it. I just couldn’t.
