What did you learn today?

Let's see:

Learned about Yamaha BBN4 IIs (sell for about $200), 1979 Yamaha Musician (sells for about ~$800), 80's Squier strats (Japanese Contemporary - humbucking pick-ups, black headstock. Some had Fender logo w/ by Squier elsewhere on the headstock. Other stuff.).

Learned about truncation errors (but not well enough to type it out for you guys. Sounds selfish, I know.

Learned about how a girl I went to high school with met her husband (ya...).

I feel like I learned very little. Not because I don't try to, but because my memory is not very good.

The wood from this tree, the Osage Orange (hedge apple), was highly prized for use in making bows by native Americans. Some French people noticed this, and began calling the geographical area "Aux Arc" which means "of the Bow". The term was then Anglicized to "Ozark". I never even wondered how this word 'came about', but now I know! :)

I learned that 4" computer fans are fitted with guards for very good reasons, I now have a 1/2" (13mm) slot in the end of my right index finger after getting a little too close to an unguarded one. It bled a lot and hurts like hell. Good job I don't have a gig for 11 days.
