What did you learn today?

I learnt that television sets don't last like they used to. I had a 19" Zenith b&w that my parents bought in 1962 when I was 5 years old that lasted through college. My 42" LP HDTV died after 5 years of moderate use.

Edit: To age myself by 2 years. I was 5 in '62.

I learned that when a female coworker is getting angry and irrational when you request something from her that might be annoying to do but has to get done regardless because that's her job and she has no choice, saying "I can see you're very upset. How about we try again later when you've calmed down".....will not be taken well.

That looks like what we call a Kiwi fruit. Maybe you call it a gooseberry but I thought a gooseberry was smaller and looked like this below.

EDIT: Just had a bit more of a look and found that the Kiwi fruit is also known as a Chinese Gooseberry. Well, I learned something today.:)
