What did you learn today?

I don't think I learned anything today, but I did find myself wondering if animals ever relax. I was watching chipmunks and they all seem so wired-up and worried.

I think only pets, predators and really big herbivores have time to relax.

Okay I have a Samsung android phone for a while now and had no idea about the quick charge feature know as Ultra Power saving mode. What a fantastic feature hidden in plan sight!

Today I learned that, after a month filled with job disappointments, A suddenly sick kid, and a dead relative (and all the attendant missed work) that I can pay my house payment, or my utility bills, but not both...

This new math sucks.

Today I learnt that there has been a spate of people being scared by random grotesque clown sightings, and in a few cases armed with knives grotesque clown sightings, in various central Ohio communities.
It's a magical world we live in.

I learned that I don't want to go to work but sit here all morning and post on Talkbass. Guess I better get going

I learned that The Edgar Winter Group's "Frankenstein" is every bit as amazing as it was when it was first released...perhaps even more so.

I learned that Ibañez makes a line of guitars with "regular" Floyd Rose style bridges with the Zero Point system in the back, and just days after I bought a Japanese Ibañez that doesn't have the ZPS
so, what do I do, I go ahead and order a RG929QM to compare with my CIJ and I'll make up my mind which one I'm keeping next week

it's got a little thumbwheel in the back so you can adjust the spring tension on the fly, which would alleviate some of the stress of changing tunings on a double locking vibrato system

EDIT: Just listened to it - very cool, but sounds a lot like other stuff from that time. IMO, nothing before or since "Frankenstein" sounds quite like "Frankenstein."
