What a great percussionist he was! I really enjoyed Special EFX because of that emphasis on ethnic percussion.

What a shame he died young.

I have a lot of G1 Transformers, I don't really collect them anymore as there are very few of the 1984-86 that I don't have.

I don't collect Basses or other instruments, I use them. I only have 3 Basses, 4 Guitars, 1 Alto Sax, 1 Trumpet, 1 Flute, 1 Violin. None are really valuable, I play them as the need arises.

We have a number of collections. We do it because we get joy from them. Mata Ortiz pottery is one of ours. There are some nice new designs and colors nowadays. Native American fetishes is another. We love their meaning and symbolism. I have a baker’s dozen Iroquois False Face Masks courtesy of my late anthropologist-brother. He always felt that every collection is unique, and that it reflected the collector’s personality as well as their unique, synchronicity-influenced life path.

Oh, I also have many, many instruments of all kinds and flavors.

Today, I collected picked up another piece of Acoma pottery.
