Shattered clavicle.
Right elbow, shoulder, hip, tibia 5 places, fibula 5 places, four fingers, nose, probably 10 concussions,
Currently nursing a nasty left shoulder pull from a misjudged powerband pulling up on a wheelie that was never meant to be. I’m also getting too old for this.
Despite it all I’m still a handsome dude.
I have hundreds of antique books, mostly from the 1800s. The oldest is a very early pre-colonial, American publication from 1745. The books below are (as far as I know) the only complete set in the world. There are 24 volumes (mostly classic literature), published between 1876 and 1907, done in this particularly ornate, gilt binding and illustrated by some of the most famous artists of the time. It took me over 10 years to hunt down all of the books in this set.
WHOA!! those are incredible! nothing in my collection goes back further than 1939, and barely any are even collector’s items. that’s really impressive.

I don't know if you can say I actually collect basses--I have two bought many years apart.
But I did collect comics & hockey cards once upon a time.

I grew up on a farm, we also had a small farm implement / hardware store. I collected toy tractors as a kid, i have probably 400 of my own, and i inherited my uncles collection of at least another 500 maybe 800, haven't had a chance to get into them yet. I now have a ton of toys, lol
In the past month or so I have added a couple new pieces to my "collection" They get used as intended, not just to be on display.

I recently found out that the 604 table is really from around 1903-1904.

For some bizarre reason, I have more guitars than basses. On Thursday my 4th git-fiddle will arrive and the low end will be outnumbered 2:1.

Though I don't consider myself a watch collector, I'm a low-level enthusiast with a modest assortment that includes a family heirloom vintage Rolex (far right). AFAIK, none of the others would be interesting to real collectors. Depending on what the microbrands release this year, I might add one or two more.
