I got rid of my Leo MM Sabre in the mid 80's because my neck felt like a baseball bat near the head-stock!

What do I hate about my Lakkie 55-02 Deluxe? That I had to open my wallet and give a store money for it.
both my basses have high action. havent had them set up since i got them.

id have to say the perfect bass for me is my stingray and the only downside is they look so damn good in so many different finishes and are expensive that ill never own enough different ones!
I hate the fact that some other doofus has beat on them, putting scrapes and dings in the finish, and worn the frets.
My own finish and fret wear I can handle, even the odd scrapes and dings are somewhat acceptable.
Eagerly awaiting the imminent purchase of a brand new 4003 MID!
(Obviously, I'm firmly outside the relic camp)
Why not just have the bass refretted?
I hate that I'm so attached to my first bass, my 80's Squier II p. She has a loose tuner that buzzes. She has a big patch of gross stickyness where someone peeled off a sticker. She has a hum that even shielding didn't kill. I can't get her action low enough. Her case has that old "marmite" smell (for those of you who'd know what I'm talking about).

hmmm..... I'll have to get really nitpicky to talk trash about my Roscoe, but there is one thing that I don't like about it. I guess over time the foam under the pickups has lost its bounce, so I can only raise them a little bit before they stop. If anyone knows a quick fix for this, I'd appreciate it
Other than that the bass is absolutely perfect !

Natural Oil finish on my Warwick is prone to marking and the string volume is a bit doohicky; still waiting on SJD and his upcoming magical Wal-esque MM pickups 
I love my Warwick Thumb to death but the neck dive just kills my shoulder and keeps me from playing it for long periods of time.
I can't think of one downside to my Fender Roscoe Beck IV, Roscoe LG-3005, or Roscoe SKB-3005, and I've tried hard.
Likewise. I have a pair of MIM P's, with Orange Drops, fancy pickguards, Hipshot Vintage bridges, and one stock pup and one SeyDunk Antiquity 2.
I have no issues with either. Love 'em both. Sure, there are other basses I would like to have - but I do truly believe that at least one of these P's will be with me forever.
That used to bug me, and how far away the 1st fret is! I got used to it, and it's one of my favorite basses.
I love everything about my MIJ P (my first bass), except I dropped it many years ago and took a chunk of paint out. The only other thing it's missing is a good Jazz bass sound
