What do you use to store unused pedals?

Is Iron Ether out of business?!?

I store my pedals in the boxes they came in, for the most part. For ones I got 2nd hand without boxes, I have a shelving unit, or an unused PT Pro board to hook them to.
I try to keep them in the boxes they came in

and Broughton. cog effects, 3 leaf and iron ether aren’t out of business / but drops are so few and far between that a lot of the older stuff is almost unobtainable or so rare it may as well be. (Or you pay silly prices )

Does anyone have any good storage cases or ideas for storing unused pedals and other small gear?
I use common clear plastic storage bins with lids. Each bin has a grouping of pedals of a certain type in it. It’s still a bit of a janky method.

Ideally, I’d like to move to a display-case style cabinet with glass doors, but not sure I have a place for that.

No matter what you choose to store them in, remember to remove the batteries. Especially alkaline. Double especially if they are Dura-leaks.

^^^^ doubling down on the Duracells here - beware, they leak like crazy, I won't use them in anything anymore. 9v, AAA and AA all leaked for me. Disaster if you've stored something with them installed.

I store my spare/excess pedals in a clear plastic bin and use hardboard/thin plywood "layers" I cut to size to stack them. I can lift out each layer to access the pedal I need much easier. Or, I can just not have so many darn pedals.:)

I thought I was the only one who had lots of problems with those “copper topped” b@$tards!

Anyhow, I have an old dresser with multiple drawers - my spare stomp boxes, power supplies & patch cables go into one of those drawers
