What does your bass say about you?

I have three and they all say the same...

"What's the fourth one for???... You can't even nail that simple bass line you've been practicing for two years now!!!

I replied "Don't say it to my wife"

yes some stereotypes are there for a reason but it dosent mean its correct.
and on the subject i will not own a bass that is red, sunburst, rosewood neck, or new.
so yeah i am a hypocrite.
Have you ever wondered what the bass you play says to others watching? Well, wonder no more! ;)

P bass = "I didn't know what buy, so I got a Fender"
Black P bass = "I didn't know what to buy but I want to look ROCK"
White P bass = "I didn't know what to buy but I like Spandau Ballet"
Sunburst P bass = "I didn't know what to buy, and they were out of black ones"
Jazz bass = "They were all out of P basses, even sunburst ones"
Peavey T40 = "P bass electronics were too boring for me after working for NASA"
Stingray = "I didn't know what to buy, but I didn't want a black P bass"
Stingray 5 = "I wanted a thumbrest, but the P bass didn't have one"
6 string bass = "I figured 2 thumbrests are better than one"
EBMM Bongo = "I like BMWs and toilets"
Warwick = "I wanted a german bass, and they don't make P basses in germany"
Yamaha = "I couldn't afford a P bass"
Squier/SX = "I couldn't afford a yamaha"
Spector = "I'm rebelling against the P bass Man!"
Rickenbacker = "I wanted a p bass, but they only have one pickup and one trussrod"
Wishbass = "you don't need no damn P bass with frets and a trussrod!"
Gibson = "what's a P bass? didn't Les Paul invent the electric bass?"
Thunderbird = "I didn't like the way P basses balance on your shoulder"
Steinberger = "I'm not strong enough to lift a P bass"
Jackson = "P basses are not black or pointy enough"
Ibanez = "I'm too cheap to buy a P bass, Stingray, Gibson, etc, so I bought a copy that's better!"
Boutique = "My old P bass didn't increase my ability to play bass lines guitarists don't want to hear"
G&L = "This is the real P bass after Leo fixed it"
Upright = "P basses are not oldschool enough... and you can't stand on them while you play them"
