What do you think should come first?

Personally I'd rather try and explore the whole world before I die, sure Alice Springs in central Australia is different to Sydney where I live, but at the end of the day, it is still the same country and the same culture. I like to experience something completely unimaginable when I travel. My last trip to India and Arabia was amazing, the change in scenery, customs, even life in general. It was insane seeing so many people in one city when in India.

I like the real shock value about traveling. :hyper: My dad and I are planning our next trip for Kazakhstan* and China.



* No we are not going there because of the Borat movie.

Come over here to Canada for some Fries and gravy. Bagged milk is pretty popular too. Kooky eh?

I asked a Canadian if milk really does come in bags over there, and he said;

"Yes, where do you live?"

"Australia."

(jokingly) "Omg, is it true you eat kangaroo over there?"

He was really amazed (and kinda disgusted I think) when I said yes. Kangaroo does taste pretty nice. :hyper:

The world. It will completely change your perspectives (or make you more of an arrogant SOB). I hope to have a job that allows me to travel. You will realize your home is great for several reasons but there is so much different out there. So many different ways of doing things, so many different lifestyles.

You don't even have to change! It just gives you a more enhanced world view when you've seen things outside of your own country. Perhaps it will give you a deeper insight or a different perspective to your own domestic situations.

My country first. There is so much to do and see here. I've only really explored the northwest, west coast and mountain states.

Then I'd like to explore Canada and Mexico even more. Been to Mexico twice and love it GREAT ppl!! GREAT food! Good times!!
Canada is breathtakingly beautiful! Nice enough folk. Good beer, eh?

Then I'd like to see South America.

Then if there was still time, see the rest of the world. Don't Get Around Much Anymore

I stick close to the good ol U S of A. Canadians are real easy to understand (cept'n for them Frenchies) but otherwise, I have no idea what the heck you people that claim to speak English are saying!

I studied abroad in Florence my Junior year of college and got to see a bunch of southern europe and London.

I just drove through california and i've seen most of the eastern seaboard from the water (intracoastal highway from Ft lauderdale to NY).

My conclusions? A lot of the US looks like Long Island and New Jersey, but there's a lot to experience culturally in all the regions of our little Manifest Destiny project over here. There's as much difference between New York and the Midwest as there is from Tuscany and Naples and I'd like to see more of it.

On the other hand, I still haven't seen Ireland, germany, france, russia, asia or australia. What to do first? I don't know. I'm not voting.

edit: Though if someone said "Would you rather walk in the steps of Joyce and enjoy guinness in a pub down the road from where it was made, OR see fargo, ND?"
I think we'd know where I stand. :bassist:
