What gave you serious G.A.S recently?

Well, I wanted the option to try both regular and reverse P, but the reasoning for the reverse P is that it makes the low B (and E) just a tad tighter. Mike Winnen has made some excellent posts regarding the desirability of reverse-P setups on Sadowsky's. :cool:

It also fattens up the D and G strings a bit to further balance out the overall sound. Spector's been doing this for years, even though this style of pickup only shows up on their 4 stringers.

1)get job, buy gear, G.A.S. relieved...... Notice I say relieved, because it's never cured.... I've been in your shoes, and it SUCKS, but life goes on, you get jobs, you buy gear/sell gear/gear gets stolen, but life goes on.

2)On the matter of the reversed P pickup, Ibanez has been doing on their basses for years as well. I've had both, and honestly, a good classic Fender with standard P arrangement sounds awesome. A good reversed P sounds good as well, it's all really subjective if you ask me. Just my opinion.

In the process of finding a job, I really want to buy an Epiphone Explorer. So i might save up a bit for that. But if i save up 900 bucks I may aswel go a bit longer and get a bass of much higher quality for around $1200 AUD.

I was in a bad spot and sold every useable bass and most of my amps.
So I was on the hunt for a useable (by my definition) bass and a pre-amp and a cab. All needed to be bought as cheap as possible.
I found some Peavey bass slightly more beat up than met my wishes, came close on a couple., ended upwith a darned good sounding and excellent feeling Yamaha BB 404.
The cab ended up being a Siesmic Audio, no apologies, sounds way better than expected and was under budget.
The pre didn't happen, ended up with a WM 4004 with a Nady wireless for a very reasonable cost.

$409 total including shipping.

I havnt been having a very good week G.A.Swise, I've found around 4 basses that i depseratly want. This one struck me a few moments ago...
