fwiw, a friend of mine tried several Epiphone guitars (not basses) and they all fell short of the mark, even considering the lower price, and went back to MF. Not to say there aren't any "good ones", but more to say, like with Squiers, it's real hit/miss.And uh, how does the cheap uh... I mean Epiphone version of the thunderbird compare to the Gibson ones?
