Dang, that's another one I do. I should at least transfer them to the workbench....

No dude, it's OK. For many musicians, duct tape is considered a permanent fix.
I knew I made it as a musician when I had my own personal roll of duct tape.

I've had many an epiphany when I got to an end of a roll. But usually it happens when I don't have a newspaper or something to read.
I just got a mid 80s headless Cort bass, is that bad for a 40 year old? oh well.
If I was going to look at pictures of clothing styles, should an old guy look at GQ or something else? Should I dress like the guys in Rolling Stone? I really haven't paid attention the last 20 years or so. Any middle age women on this board want to add some advice?
No offense, but boutique expensive looking basses make me think a bassist is a little long in the tooth.
Probably just because they're usually the only ones who can afford them.

I met a guy once, he came in with a 20 something bubbly blonde that was obviously younger than him. He wore black sunglasses, jeans and a doo-rag, reminding me of Hulk Hogan. He drove a 69 Charger. I asked him about the Charger, thinking he was late 30's. He bought it new 40 years ago.

1- Any kind of novelty clothes i.e. Daffy Duck socks, or a tie with piano keys on it.
2- If you don't have hair on top don't try and compensate by growing a greasy pony tail, or dying it bright yellow/blond. It only makes it worse!
