I don't know if you really took the time to pay attention to what Hadrien plays, but he borrows extremely heavy from Alphonso Johnson and Matt Garrison.
Harmonically, stylistically and technically.
So what would your idea contexts for Hadrien be?
Getting the boot actually reduces the contexts you can hear his sound in.
