What is most important in your life?

Anyways, After reading each and every post, It seems to be a general decision for the most part.

-Family
-Religion
-Health
-Music

Those four were most common.

Other interesting answers...

-Adequate living conditions
-Schooling
-Butt Secks
-Being happy no matter the situation

A few people, Vorago and somebody else, Said they don't know. I fall into that as well. Guess I wanted to see what was important to everybody else so maybe I could see what should be important. This kind of helped, and kind of didnt. I realize that not a single person mentioned work. Work has been stressing me out a ton and I realize that It isn't really worth the 9 dollars an hour to have to do all my work and get stressed out.

Just a bit of an eye opener for me I suppose. I never was one who strived for family. Sure my Grandparents, whom I love with, and my Mom and Brother. Beyond that my family might as well be strangers for all I care. I was never one for relationships either. The idea of having a S/O kind of makes me sick at times. I always had the feeling my life wouldn't be important or successful enough for me to share it with somebody else, or have a child. Having grown up with disappointment, I can not do the same to my kid, so I never ruled it an option. Religion was never anything to me, and It never will be. (no offense to anybody. Believe what you wish, please.)

Off to find what makes me happy I suppose. Ill bring this thread back in time. Thank you.

Life in general. That may sound kinda simplistic, but at my age (58), I can look back on some rough times, but I have been married to the same beautiful woman for 34 years, two beautiful daughters, and one absolutely gorgeous 7 week old granddaughter. Right now, I'm sitting in my yard drinking a cup of coffee and enjoying a typical Calif. spring day. Yup, life is pretty darn good!

self esteem and self importance. I need to feel that I matter. Even though I'm a tiny speck relative to the entire universe, I feel that as long as I am successful and skillful in at least one area, and I can influence enough of my surroundings, my life will have been meaningful. I will have purpose. Otherwise, I'm just another coincidental arrangement of matter, indistinguishable from the rest; it would make no difference whether I lived or not, so I may as well jump off a bridge for the sake of expedience.
