Mine is wired V/V/T, but stock they are 3-way switch, volume, tone.
The nut on this one is 1-3/4", but it's from 1997. The specs for new ones says 1-11/16".
They also use bubinga on the fretboard now.

Thx! The placement of the pickups would fit my playing style... I can't maneuver many 2-pickup basses - as the pup's are too close to the 'sweet-spots' for my fingering... tried a bunch... mite think about one of these!

1978 Music Man Sting Ray Bass-
Purchased (mint, brand new condition) in the summer of 1981 and was my only bass for 17 years. I now have 5, but it's in the will that this one goes in the casket with me!

I've got more than a few basses to choose from, but my #1 has got to be my home-built '54 relic. There are are some reasons I feel this way. It's a very shoulder-friendly at 7 3/4 pounds, yet it balances well. It's tone with it's Sting pickup and flatwounds is just about perfect for me, the bluesman that I am. Since this bass was born a relic, it laughs off any bumps and bruises. in addition to the pics below, it's also seen being played in my profile picture.

My 2008 Fender MIM FSR Jazz is my #1. Likely always will be. But Cant stop playing the Squier CV 60s P of late. The Labellas are starting to break in nicely

The current fingerboards are Caribbean Rosewood. RIC started using that sometime in 2011. And yes, the current nut width is 1 11/16".

Ibanez 1806e. Though I can't imagine why anyone would take note. I scantly care what it is. I trust it only because it's the paddle that took me the next trading post.
