replaced the strings on the JAZZBASS to Rotsound Rotobass 105-045.
sounds really great, cutting highes and lots of lows...like them.
they have more tension then the Dean Markley...but they stay in tune after and hour of slaps...nice.

Rob Allen Deep 4: Rotosound RS88 5 string (use the bottom 4 strings, so .75 - .135)
Fender P, '70s Music Man (which has been made passive): Rotosound RS77LE (.50 - .110) -
Fender Bass V: Rotosound RS77EL (.45 - .105, with another .45 for the high C)

The RS88 has been my standard fretless string I've used on all the fretless basses I've owned. I tried the LaBella 760Ns and didn't like them.

The 77LE set is my standard string set I've used for nearly 20 years. I tried the James JAmerson LaBella set once. They were on my bass for a week. When I had a MM Stingray 5, I had the matching flat .125. I'm toying with making my 4 strings .75 - .125.

The Bass V has a longer body and stringthrough (despite the shorter in length neck), so I needed extra long strings.

after some tweaks and the bass has adjusted to the new strings my bass sounds just amazing with the ROTOBASS strings - they really enhanced my sound !!! :hyper:

I'm using DR Hi-Beams on my Peavey TL-Five and my Les Paul.

I have Elixir Nanowebs on my Shecter Stiletto Studio 5 Fretless. I'm not reral fond of the Elixirs, so I have a set of DR's waiting for thew fretless as well.
