What makes your band unique?

In theory, the perfect marriage for me is strongly arranged/modern melodic HC (in the latest Propagandhi, A Wilhelm Scream kind of vein) but with lyrics that reflect my age (now 36). Also I prefer emulating the "Queen-esque"/"Suprem-esque" sort of backing vocals rather than the so typical HC harmonies (it's me singing too). Spanish rock music evolves with some 30 year delay so, in such context, I can say we're pretty unique.

(as you can see, we're a 3 generation band -drummer 24, left guitar 47, rest mid 30s-)

we're from a small mining town in the north of sweden, so being uniqe isn't that hard, most bands from our town plays metal or covers.
I write all the music, the singer writes all the lyrics and we spend most of our rehersals sitting around talking crap and drinking coffee.

We're actually just finishing the CD this week. It might be early next week if it gets sidetracked at all, but definitely by the end of August.

We were supposed to be playing a gig on the 11th with Ninjaspy, but that didn't work out, so we have one on the 21st at The Backstage Lounge. We're going to see if we can get a few CDs out there, but probably not.

We're a Christian Progressive/Alternativerock band. A very interesting mix. Different for sure. Can you name very many Christian bands that are trios and have punchy lead bass? Or a unique, distinctive guitar sound (provided by our guitaist Trent Futch. It's like this grungey but trebly and screamy almost tone that he's developed that sounds really cool and is very original.) I can't. In addition. We don't just write stuff like "Yes Lord, yes Lord, yes, yes Lord!" (though there's nothing wrong with good ol' praise and worship.) We write alot of thinking man's lyrics, and etc.

Beasts of Traal is a 3-piece band of 99.9% original music. Influenced by Jazz, Blues, and Punk, the bands music takes on a Psychedelic feel with a classic 60's psychedelic vibe.

What makes us unique? The fact that were all awesome dudes who truly love the music we put out, we can spend more time perfecting our sound, which is far from ordinary.

We still play the Bar/Pub Scene alot, though its definitely not where we're best suited. We're a much better fit for art galleries/art shows and that ilk.

Tonight we're playing an art show called Uncovered, where there will be live life drawing and nude body painting taking place throughout our improvised set.
