What the...Darkglass Vintage Microtubes?!?!

Not sure where mine is. Got an email from Arsenal in Montreal last week saying they are waiting for shipping info.

If I had waited I could have ordered one from the US. Oh, well, it will arrive soon I hope.

Can't wait...........Hopefully it will be here this week along with my micro thumpinator....:hyper:

Got shipping info. Mine is in San Fran, still has to find its way to Montreal, then off to me. Probably take another week. WOW did I screw that one up, lol. Oh well, should be worth the wait.:bassist:

got mine today.
only got to play with it for about 10 minutes before the kids bedtime, but first impressions are good. I don't notice a huge difference with the era knob, but the pedal had me inspired musically. that's kinda how I judge a pedal, do I wanna keep playing more stuff because of the sounds Im getting or do I just kinda feel like "hey that sounds alright", but Im done in two minutes. the microtubes make me wanna keep playing. I kinda wish the range on the era was wider as I feel I wanna juice up the far left and right extremes of the knob for even more fat dirty 15s sound or more clanky crank on the other end, but I find it all usable. it's character is similar to the od channel on my Sunn 1200s, but the pedal has the advantage of setting different vibes that I can add in... I've gone thru dozens of overdrives and this may be a keeper.

I've always took it, especially to boutique stores, that if you buy it and it's not defective and you return it, it's a slight detriment to the store, who bought it from the manufacturer, built inventory on it, marketed it, sold it, shipped it. Otherwise you're effectively borrowing it at a deep cost to the establishment you got it from. These are specialty items, you should have a somewhat familiar basis of what you're buying before you buy it.

For me I sold mine rather than returning it because I bought it from a small shop and returns don't help their bottom line. I knew I could sell it and the folks at Rogue Guitar have been good to me and I plan on purchasing more items from them in the future if I had bought it from Guitar Center I wouldn't have cared.

+1 Well said I agree and the guy I deal with was like hey thanks a lot I'll take care of you on any future purchases.
