I can't believe the asking prices on 4080 Rics these days. :wideyed:
I had a pair of them in the mid-eighties - one white, one natural.
I paid about $800 apiece for them used, and sold them in the late-eighties/early nineties for about the same.
They were cool, but also very heavy & not too practical.
Still, I wish I had kept one, even though I only ever played it on "Xanadu" and "A Passage to Bangkok". :bassist:

I agree that the asking price is.. well, more than a little excessive, IMO... and that, AFAIK, 4080 Ricks aren't all that rare. I seem to recall that several people around here, besides Jeff Scott, own one - or two... But, it's a fact of Life that; If ya don't ask, ya for sure won't get. It's too bad (for the owner) that it isn't a lefty, though; even at that price, I might be tempted...:rolleyes:
