Mine was a Vox Clubman, very crude, maple board, medium scale and the machine heads were like plastic guitar machines
Cost me £10, when i was about 12 maybe 13 years old
my first bass was lotus copy of a p bass. played it for a year.
then i pulled the trigger on a ibanez roadster lefty.
i still own the ibinez and consider it my first real bass.
to this day, it's my favorite bass that i own.
though.... i have a bass being made for me right now that is probably going to be my favorite bass.
cant wait for for that to be done.
Mine was and still is a Squire Affinity P-Bass, then again that was just this past December LOL bought a Schecter Elite-5 a few weeks ago. Still love el-cheapo Squire and practice on it more than I do my Schecter. I think it sounds great, plays well, and I still enjoy it so what more can I say.
Mine was a metallic red Vester P/J 4 string. I have no idea what the actual model name is. I even still have that bass! Maybe one day my kids will want to play bass, and I'll have something for them to mess around with.
A short scale Mach 1 Electric Series. I still have it though it doesn't work. I got it for about $100 which was about $98 more than it was worth. My band had already started practicing and the guy that was loaning me his bass was starting to get pissed. So I had to get one real quick for not much $$.
Somewhat of a buterscotch-burst, two pups. I would like another, just for nostalgia. I already have a Decca (my second bass) and a Kingston guitar, just like my first electric guitar.
