What was your first bass?? Still have it?

Yep still got mine. Squier Precision, bought new with a small combo amp in 1997 with all the money I had in the world. But hey I was only 17 at the time. Still play it, I'm upgrading it cosmetically very soon. It plays great even if it is a Squier.

$79 Special at local music store several years ago.
And it had a good pickup on it....obviously not active electronics, but w/ my little 25W Gorilla it could blast me outta the room! I sold it to a friend and bought a Washburn 5 single pickup.
Have since upgraded to an "Active Electronics" Washburn XB500 5 string (circa 1994)
