Last: Shinedown Anything and Everything Tour.

First: Sammy Hagar opening for Boston, The Spectrum in Philadelphia, 1977

Last: Roger Waters, The Wall - Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, November 2010. Some of the most amazing visuals I've ever seen at a concert.

I only counted "big" concerts. I've been to loads of shows in small venues and clubs to see less well-known bands and local bands. I usually prefer those kinds of shows.

Nice. I've seen clips of Hayseed Dixie, they're a hoot! I'm going to see The Damned for the first time in October, I believe it's their 35th anniversary tour.

35 years is nothing for those guys, the singer is a vampire so does not age, he only gets better
They are playing songs from their first album `Damned Damned Damned` and `The Black Album`, it will be a great gig for you and if you hang around by the merchandise stall before they start you stand a great chance of meeting Captain Sensible, one of the nicest chaps in the business, he loves meeting the fans

First Concert was a Beatles concert that I don't really remember except for screaming girls. Went lots of concerts in the 70's and 80's but not too many these days.
Last 2 concerts was Return To Forever Reunion Tour (1st show in Austin at the Paramount) then the Five Peace Band and my next is RTF Forever with Zappa Plays Zappa.

First concert was Yes with J.Geils at Gaelic Park in the Bronx in '70. I was 8 1/2 WooHoo! Last one was the Spring Concert of the Triton High School Jazz Band a few months ago where my oldest daughter played flute.
Last big band was Van Halen, in Atlantic City a year or so ago. They put on a fine show but don't seem to have grown musically AT ALL in 30 years so a bit of a dissapointment really. They are kind of like watching a tribute band, really.

Last: This past Sunday was the annual Bonzai Festival (Bush, Puddle of Mudd and several others)

Going to see Queensryche on Sunday and then Blink 182 with My Chemical Romance on the 11th.

Last Concert: BLIND MELON, last friday. Great, great show. Super tight band. I hadn't listened to their music in a while, but remembered each of the songs. touched.

Latest: Rush, July 18th, 2010 Shoreline Amphitheatre

I miss the days in the late 80's/early 90's where I was going to concerts every weekend it seemed. Now I'm lucky if I can see one concert a year.

Not as lucky as you think. Aerosmith was fantastic, but G&R wasn't so great thanks to Axl Rose. He had mic problems during the first song, threw his mic stand against the amps, and went back stage for several minutes while the rest of the band tried to deal, unsuccessfully. I was really disappointed, as I was there to see them. :scowl:
