What was your first "gigging" rig?

There's a big thread on this somewhere... but it's always fun to look back.

1972.... Kustom 100... 2x12 white sparkle 'tuck and roll' baby!!!.. with a purple power light that would burn holes in your retina if you stared at it too long:D

Yes, I was long in admiration of a friend who owned a Kustom 2 cab rig in red sparkle tuck and roll. Only I wanted the blue one for myself. Also had serious GAS for the original MusicMan head.

My first gig I used my Hartke 3500 combo (the one with the VX410 attached).

My profile picture shows the first 'Professional G.A.S. Head' rig... A Trace Elliot 100 watt head, that I used the preamp out into a Carvin BX1000 to an SWR goliath.

Sounds interesting, but honestly it sounded horrible. I didn't start getting the floor shakin' bass feel until I picked up my first 212 cab, years later and never looked back!

Nowadays it'd be a GK MB112 with 112MPB. Also have an Epi UL212 I might do something with in the future.

I had a Peavey Mk III and a matching 2x15.

Did the job, but got replaced by a Trace Elliot rig with an 8x10

Warwick 1x15 + 2x8 with a busted (but working) tweeter, and a Warwick WAMP pushing 280W at 8ohm.
Great amp, keeping this thing for compact gigs. If I ever see a Warwick WAMP800 for sale, the big 4U daddy with all the options I'm getting that for sure.
