What would your life be like without a Cell phone ?

frankly I miss those times where there the wasn't this cellphone mania around...

I don't have a land line - I only use my cell phone. So... pretty quiet.

I can remember before cell phones people saying, "One day your cell phone would be as personal to you as your wallet." Seemed strange at the time but dang if they weren't right. My new one doubles as an MP3 player. LG8300. Pretty cool.
For me they are a great thing.

I like having my cell, but if I didn't have one, it wouldn't be that bad of a thing! Unfortunately, I don't have a landline, so there you have it.

I haven't had a cell phone since early July. I had a Treo 650 which I used as a datebook, address book, phone, memo pad, google maps interface, mp3 player, and quick+dirty camera.

It's really pretty nice not having one anymore.

I'd have to actually memorize phone numbers.

I'd have $43 extra beer/sushi money every month.

I'd have to wear a watch.

I wouldn't lose my cellphone and freakout once a week.

I wouldn't get caught in as many lies by girlfriend.

Bliss... I hate the things.
But have to have one.

Well, to be truthful, I hate other peoples cell phones! Quit talking in restaurants, turn them off in movies, class, church, while driving, etc. We old timers remember vividly when the blasted things were only in Maxwell Smart's shoes.

For me personally, things wouldn't be much different, since hardly anyone ever calls me anyway. But they are useful to have in an emergency.

Over here, mobile phones are ubiquitous... even more so than in the US (the US was kinda a late starter when it came to mobile phones). Everyone has at least one, quite a lot of people have two, and I hate going into pubs and seeing groups of people around a table... not talking to each other, just sitting there texting other people.

I'd be without a job or income. I'd need to start a new career. Some of us are absolutely required to carry a cell phone at all times for emergencies. Before cell phones got good coverage, I had to carry a cell phone AND a pager!

It is a love hate kinda thing. I love having the portability of communication. But it is bothersome to be so accessable. Worst case scenerio, turn it off or put it on slient.

I think that we all love being able to call out, but hate/dislike the incoming calls. maybe because you call out when you want to, but the calls coming in can happen anytime.

I could get by fairly easily after a couple weeks of adjustment. I really don't use mine much. I think my wife and I have a 750 minute plan and we use like 100 a month.

I haven't had one in months and it feels GREAT, but I'll need to get one sometime only because payphones are so scarce.
