Paul Giamatti's delivery of "You wascally wabbit" was just...perfect.
I'm currently revisiting my chilldhood by watching documentaries about the early space program, Mercury, Gemini and Apollo programs.
As a kid I wanted to be an astronaut so bad but one winter I grew 6 inches in 6 months (that hurt) which made me taller than maximum height requirement so I had to give that up. I eventually got my BS in Electronic Engineering became a "rocket scientist" instead.

Tonight we watched Contact. I haven't seen it since we saw the movie when it came out way back when. Pretty heavy on the religious vs. science issues, but still a great science fiction, of sorts, movie.
That just got stranger and stranger.
I liked it, but can see why casual viewership would have dropped off after a few episodes. It's too bad it got cancelled because the ending of season one promised a very interesting continuing story.
That one was pretty decent. And I liked the ultra-short episode format. I’ve seen a couple other shows that have tried that.
Yeah... you can skip Winnie the Pooh: Blood & Honey.
Finished up the current season of The Mandalorian. I don't get the dislike for this season, I thought it was excellent, and loved the last two episodes especially.

I wonder how they secured the rights to feature those characters in a movie like this.
Even if they have the legal right, it's still wrong, IMO. It's different if it's something like an SNL skit played for laughs, but to go this far?
At least have the decency to come up with an original story and character, like the movie "Ted." No need to besmirch such a well-known and beloved children's book character. But anything goes nowadays, so maybe I'm the problem...

I believe Christopher Robin and friends have moved into the public domain.
That's what I was thinking.
The main Disney characters (Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc.) will probably never be allowed to enter the public domain. They'll have to pry the rights from Walt Disney's own cold, dead fingers. And I'm sure whoever's in charge of the Disney estate will never let that happen.

Why did you watch it
I was told by my SO that they're going to be making another one - not sure how true that is but apparently this movie made enough to be profitable solely on the "its so bad, people will watch it just to see how bad it is" principle.
Today I saw a Swedish classic called "The Seventh Seal". It was very good!
