Not bad, but from everything I've read, the books are more up my alley. I'm planning on reading them here soon.

Books got the drop on movies every time, with their God's eye view etc. But the show for me wanting to read the book.

James Mason, in that movie, looks like a friend of mine. Both he and his wife saw the movie when it came out, and (not) surprisingly, they both turned into, er, became geologists!

This is great! I loved these cartoons back then.
And you get Ted Knight narrating it too. He did a lot these.

Just finished binging The Sopranos for the first time. Never watched the show despite being from NJ and having my family primarily of Italian heritage on both sides (Great great grandfather immigrated to the US in the late 1800's by way of Argentina).

Apparently I'm not alone in feeling that the ending was pretty weak. Thoroughly enjoyed the show overall and regret having slept on it all these years.

Wow! Just saw on YouTube. It’s pretty cool. They all do solo. Karen does a nice one at about the 2:45 mark. I think she’s about 18 when this was done Don’t know if this was posted previously, but here goes……

I want to read the books too but Im trying to find an old secondhand copy. For some reason, I like my Sci Fi books to be old and battered. No idea why, but I can’t bring myself to buy new sci fi.
