Whatcha watching?

I think CBS switched to color in 1966, the same year ST started, but most people didn't have color TVs till the mid 70s. The show wasn't big when it was on and really only became popular during syndication later. Or so I've read. I was born in the 80s.

We sure it wasn't having a b&w tv? I'm old enough that we had one in the house when I was little.

I saw the original broadcasts in color. We didn't have much money growing up, but the one thing my parents splurged on was a color TV.

The show had a loyal fanbase that worked hard to keep it going for three seasons. What is surprising is how long it took to get TNG off the ground.

The first season was definitely a rough start, but once Riker grew a beard the show got much better.

Mine too, always had a week or two at the beach every summer, starting in the Carolinas and ending up on Cape Cod by the time I went to college. I miss those summers on the Cape, going out fishing for blue fish and lobster potting, corn on the cob with the catch of the day, watermelon.... yeah.

I lied last week. I've taken on another show. I started watching Outer Range. Started from the beginning as I've not seen it. Pretty good so far even though I have no idea what is happening.
They can throw almost any storyline in it, it could go on for awhile. I was getting a bit of whiplash with it last season;):)

Last night, my son and I watched the old classic B/W comedy, SOME LIKE IT HOT. One of the greatest of all comedies ever filmed.
