Agreed on ER. I'll stop now and then to watch an episode. I don't regret it when I do.Just watched the season 2 finale of The Last of Us.
Season one was one of the better series in the zombie apocalypse genre. Season 2 was a dumpster fire.
We totally loved The Pitt series. My son is too young to have seen ER, so we've been watching season 1 to see baby Noah Wiley as a third year med student. I'm surprised how well that show has held up.
From what I've read, those movies are at this point being made for Chinese audiences who just want to see Tom jump off of buildings. Not surprised this one was plotless.Mission Impossible was booooring. Three hours of scenes with barely a cohesive narrative. The stars are on their worldwide promotional tour and now seeing them makes me think “but they didn’t finish the movie. They just filmed the scenes and forgot to edit in a story. They’re not done yet”. This move sucked.
I knew that, but didn't consider that while watching it. It makes perfect sense. The whole movie is things happening with voiceover and quick flashbacks. They made everything he's ever done for the last 8 movies all about the bad guy for this one. With the right voiceover, the "story" could be about anything. From what I've read, those movies are at this point being made for Chinese audiences who just want to see Tom jump off of buildings. Did you mean "The Revenant" with Leonardo DiCaprio? Yes, an excellent movie, albeit brutal. The Reverant for the first time last night (free on Youtube). Wow! Just, wow!
Thunderbolts has been getting pretty positive reviews. I still want to see it and Sinners, but I can't be arsed to go to a theater.Did you mean "The Revenant" with Leonardo DiCaprio? Yes, an excellent movie, albeit brutal.
Our son and I saw "Thunderbolts" yesterday. It was not what I expected, but in a good way. It's a very good movie, with a mix of humor, action, and emotion.
Sinners is worth seeing in the theater and especially in imax. I only have fake imax near me, but it's still worth it for the sound and they play around with the aspect ratio on the bigger screen.Thunderbolts has been getting pretty positive reviews. Ever since you said you were watching Babylon 5 for the first time, I’ve been hunting down and revisiting some of my favorite clips on YouTube.Watching Babylon 5 for the first time. My wife has watched it before, but I haven't.
Also rewatching Firefly.
Checked trailer. That has all the markings of something I'd run through, and I happen to have Paramount+ for a little bit, so, thank you probably.Couples Therapy is back on Paramount/Showtime. Great show, and it makes me feel grateful that my marriage is mostly drama-free.
