i love my TAFM. the Year2525 is AMAZING too. if you want more self-oscillating nastiness.

Wren & Cuff PPB (sorta muffy with some buzzsaw)
Iron Ether Oxide (does freaking everything)
SS/BS TAFM (get the gate mod = two pedz in one)
SS/BS Year2525/4545 (self oscillating DESTRUCTION)
Fairfield Circuitry Unpleasant Surprise (whoo daddy. crush crush crush CRUSH)

hard to go wrong with any of thems. all (i'm guessing on the US, since it just came out, but all of his others do) hold their value really well too, so if it's not for you flipping shouldna cost you much.

troll the classifieds..there are enough out there that once in a while, people get stupid and decide to flip theirs.

but seriously, for at least a YEAR now, when people have similar questions of hunting for 'that sound' but they don't know what, I've been recommending a TAFM. My only concern for you is the spark it may ignite..the desire for MOAR FUZZ.

and..I LOVE my year4545. To pieces. It's a textural and responsive thing, really.

Hahahaha....see if you can follow this....I started this year off with a Boss GT-10B and a sweet Eden Nemisis combo amp...and then I've waded and traded my way through Modfactors, Barnacles, Tech 21 stuff....long story short...

Currently on my board: B3K, Strymon Trimeline, Moog EP-2, and Crowther Prunes & Custard.

Incoming: sfx Micro Thumpinator, Fairfield Circuitry Unpleasant Surprise, Infanem Second Voice, and an Iron Ether Nimbus (which I'm looking to flip).

Being built (payed for): ss/bs Super Puzzle and EXPRESSIONATOR!!!

Plans to buy (once Nimbus is flipped...like....this week): IE Xerograph Deluxe and Neunaber Chroma Chorus.



........it's been a busy year..... :help:
