How about if I actually had 4 flangers on my board at once at one point? Would that qualify? I'm not even kidding, I took that board to one of the TB get-togethers a couple years ago, and Bryan Tyler gave me quite a ribbing about it.
In: Ginger PCB, looper, Fuzzhugger Arc Flash, A strange desire to build a bunch of fx kits and finally learn how to read a schematic.
Out: Guyatone TZ2, Orange Squeezer, Ibanez SB7.
IMHO, the SB7 is *The* synth pedal to recommend to all the noobs who say, "I want to sound exactly like this heavily processed keyboard without learning anything about synthesis, searching TB or spending more than $75".
Why? It is totally analog and only has a couple controls so they can't hurt themselves or the audience with terrible tracking errors and the high pitched whines of an out-of-control SYB-5.
Still strangely enjoying: The Modtone mini delay. I'm considering trying the flanger next. My board is going to look like a psychedelic pizza soon.

Synth pedals are silly fun. Sometimes I intentionally make my SYB-5 glitch out and then send it through my delay. If you play chords in some of the modes it jumps up like 2 or 3 octaves when it glitches. Sounds absolutely terrible in the most fun way. I think my roommate said something along the lines of, "What the hell are you doing man?". Good times.
Arrived...THE GREAT DESTROYER!!! It got here seriously quick! I guess the rest of the stuff should be trickling in for the next few days. Today I get to primer the box.

I think you are going to dig the BEF Pro, I can get some real cool electronica sounds going with it and the M5 synth.
yah. i've not had much luck with most of the M9 modulation stuff, but i think gated TAFM into it could be very, VERY nice indeed.
the thing i didna dig about the Multiwave nuggers was the digital, not convincingly "real" sound to it..... but that's actually what i'm looking for with the BEF. seems like it excels at the less organic, more CRUSH FACES filtery stuff i'd expect from an actual synth.
and. you know. dubstep (****ing hate that term. IT'S FREAKING HALF TEMPO IDM.) wobble. it's something i REALLY want to try in a different song setting.

Well, this has me thinking: it seems that we have several forumites who are, for all intents and purposes, the authorities on certain effects. Bongo can take that prize for compressors, chief seems right on flangers, and although haven't seen anyone else here express as much interest in chorus pedals as I have, I am about as far from an expert as one could be.
If anyone is interested in lending - and I do stress that I would be borrowing the pedals - me their chorus pedals, I will gladly take up the mantle, and stop me if I am becoming arrogant.

CultyVoltz - innnterrrressstinnnng. the Ibby Syb and whatever that horrid yellow noisy distortion (Boss i think? i blocked it out) were some of the first pedals i owned. all i remember on the Ibby always getting something cool that would work for one type of riff, knob twibbling, then never being able to find it again. but i was (een more than now) an i'gnant gidget.
why don't we have Matter Transference Fax Machines yet? i ordered my Sourcy BEF, they took the money out my account, it's been 8 hours, i still don't have it. the **** technology? letting the side down.
also, i'm on a fewwwww Vicoden. makes everything you play sound AWESOME.

I just want to say that term "term" creeps me out.
I mean....c'mon....it could be short for terminate. What the ****? You wanna terminate me know? And if some little kiddy with a retainer were saying it...it sounds like "germ". That's not good. I don't like germs. Keep your germs away from me. Or "perm". Perms are like choruses....they rocked in Def Leopard....and Def Leopard rocked 25 years ago. Let's keep them that way....let's keep them all 25 years ago. Let's start putting ***s up anytime someone wants to say "chorus" because that mess offends me. It's like watching those old Highlander shows when Adrian Paul is all wearing those big baggy shirts tucked in to jeans. I mean...that show would still be cool if he didn't wear those baggy shirts tucked into them jeans. And if he hadn't cut Richie's head off. Why the heck did they have to kill of Richie? I had hopes for him. And then they put on that new Highlander movie on SyFy last year and that was hellalame. Rawr. That reminds me SyFy canceled Stargate Universe. That show was cool. Like...Firefly cool. No one watched it because all of the other Stargates were like Xena in Space but SU was pretty awesome. At least Merlin starts soon. Merlin is cool. Unlike that old movie Excalibur. I mean...really....? Do people REALLY like that movie or was it just the cool hipster thing to do like jamming to Nirvana in the 90's, U2 in the later 90's, or the Beatles now? Like...you don't really like it and the jeans are all tight and rubbing where things shouldn't be rubbed anymore but everyone else is doing so whatever. Dang my Hornets need a shooter. This is horrible to watch. No one can score. Gordan needs to get healed soon. NBA refs are horrible. i stopped paying for tv about 5 years ago and turned my display box into more of an intravision than a television.... couldn't be happier. went from being an NBA junkie and tivo'ing every game, even during the useless first 2/3's of the season to never watching unless i'm out at a.... well. i guess just shows at bars that show games. SO much more time to do useless stuff in.

Firefly Good you say? i reflexively call BLASPHEME on you. that series is the best live action episodic story telling ever produced. i love my country, but everytime i watch through that dvd i can't help bu mumble "**** YOU America. how could you?".
i'm actually.... a little sad now. going to go watch some Firefly on one of the three different devices i have them loaded up onto.

the hillarious thing about Pedobear is that in Japan RilaKkuma (Relax Bear) is super popular and has zero connection to Bad Touching little kids.
actually makes me cringe a little inwardly when i get to spend time around my ADORABLE niece-in-law in Japan. she loves her RillaKkuma doll. and carries it EVERYwhere.
