ooooh, face melty please! I can sort of get that with the TAFM. And really, I can appreciate what a quality effect it is, for sure. Its just not pealing the paint off my walls like I hoped it would. Maybe its the blend, it sounds too clangy to me. Like it takes my bass signal and boost the upper mids or something. The cure would be dialing the blend down more, which I admittedly haven't experimented with enough (Figuring out the Strymone Timeline is taking up a lot of my practice time these days; my first digital effect... so many banks!).

The TFR on my board does wall of doom like wow, so I don't need that at all... all set there.

Like I said, I'm super hoping the Unpleasant Surprise will scratch that hard to reach obnoxious gated fuzz itch I gots in me pants. Hmmmm, how is the tafm and Surprise together? Maybe that's the answer.

DoomiDrive is s'posed to be DAMN good, Megalith is a beast (only played with a friend's, never owned any Mountain King), and i LOVE the W&C Pickle Pie B for angry angry fallopian piercing's.

oh yah! the Exar Super Fuzz is surprisingly good. and if Bongo's still got some, i think he was blowing them out for around a hundy new.

I have a DoomiDrive. It isn't a Fuzz, it's an overdrive. Having said that, IT RULZ!!!!!! It isn't my use all the time OD. It is a stackin MASTAH. All of my fuzz sounds so much more massive coming out of it, it is part of my face melting recipe.
I have a Mountain King Frequency LSD coming for a showdown with the Fairfield. Who knows they both might stay. :hiding:

it's so good billy. it's SO good. Delta found a HUGE power supply thingie for like a hundy, looks beast too. but it's not undermountable. the Cioks i think will do all the powers on my board in one unit.

which. makes me. HAPPY.

I was looking at that cioks p**** power a few weeks ago, I couldn't figure out how it is different than the DC10, outside of the obvious. If I had the choice back when I would have definitely got the p**** power over the DC10 though.
