Just arrived, haven't had a chance to play with it yet. Blackout Effectors Musket Fuzz.....Red Rifles Edition.

Coming: Analog.man Sun Face NKT275, Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay, Malekko 616, B:Assmaster Double Germanium.

Going: Money, sense.

Note: The Sun Face is absolutely stunning. I drive home from work thinking about it every day, and crank that sumbitch for at least an hour each night. Rarely do pedals grant me such pleasure and joy. I'm very surprised it doesn't get more love for bassists.

We need some soundclips then!!! My guitarist buddy has one that he never uses, maybe I should borrow it off him for a bit.
Do it! :D

I recorded some samples the other day, I'll try to get them up later this week. It is a pretty specific pedal, very sensitive to the instrument volume knob and amp you run it through. Sounds marginal with an active (not as bad as I expected), but absolutely stunning with a passive bass and tube head.

Looks great, I've heard nothing but good things about them too (at least guitar-side). Let us you what you think!

Musket Fuzz mini review with clips this weekend. Played with the pedal for about 30 minutes last night before life got in the way.

First, it is a Big Muff type fuzz....which I like. It is extremely flexible/tweakable. The Tone and Mids controls interact to effect how the mids get scooped (or not). The Focus control is also interesting.

Seems to do a very good job of maintaining the bottom end.

Over and Out....for now!

The Sun Face is a true masterpiece of a pedal. I prefered it with a high output passive bass and a tube amp. I like to use Sun Faces with my SG Bass' bridge pickup for a guitarlike tone.

Also I've heard Analogman has tried the Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face, and liked it so much he has upgraded his recent Silicon Sun Faces with bigger caps for more bass response to make them more like the Jimi Hendrix Fuzz Face.
