What's Coming & Going Thread, Part "FORE!!" (IV)

Going (back to Catalinbread): SFT.

Coming: some other dirt box, not sure just what yet. Until then, the AGRO reigns supreme.

Quick notes about the SFT: I'm not returning it because it's bad, because it isn't. It's quite good, in fact, at being an overdrive with amp-like response, and it can do a pretty good range of sounds. It just so happens that they aren't the kind of sounds I'm looking for. C'est la vie.

I didn't even know Mojo Hand was making a flanger until 2 days ago. I guess they finally came out yesterday. So I bought one.

I need to sell some crap.

I knew they were making one, I didn't know it was out.

I was looking at a number of flangers a while back (Barracuda, another HBE, Paradox) including a few that weren't out yet (Mojo Hand, new Fulltone CFV2, A/DA reissue) and ended up putting deposit down on the Fulltone. But I got tired of waiting and bought an FL-9 from the classifieds.

Curious to hear your thoughts on the Mojo Hand.

Out are the parts to the Maestro Fuzz Tone I'm having built, and that will be coming once it's done.

Now working fine is the Vox AC15 I'm going to pick up, but first my guitar tech is going to retube it, modify it for better bass response (for bass VI), and separate it into a head and cab format, where I'll be getting an Eminence Swamp Thang for the cab which should also do wonders for the low end response. I never liked that stock speaker.

I am so excited!!!

OUT:
MIM Fender Strat
Roland JV 1080

IN:
Eventide Pitchfactor!!!!

Next Purchase:
Midi Clock Hardware Device

I really need some good recommendations on a good hardware midi sync device that will be able to route and communicate tap tempo-generated midi clock (generated on the MP-201) to and from the Pitchfactor.

If this works out and I don't have any clock sync problems, then...

Next Sales:
Duncan Shape Shifter
Source Audio Tri-Mod Phaser
Boss CE-5 (maybe)
Boss ODB-3
EMG P/J's
EMG BQC

Subsequent Purchase:
Eventide Modfactor to handle all of my modulation needs.

On the MP-201, I'd have:
Channel 1: MF-101
Channel 2: Photron
Channel 3: Pithfactor
Channel 4: Modfactor

If all goes well, I'll be able to scroll up/down a patch on the MF-101 and simultaneously trigger...

1) Cutoff frequency on the MF-101
2) Expression or LFO control of the MF-101 w/ ability to scroll through subdivisions of the tap tempoed midi clock in LFO mode
3) Cutoff frequency of the Photron
4) Expression of LFO control of the Photron w/ ability to scroll through subdivisions of the tap tempoed midi clock in LFO mode
5) Patch change on the Pitchfactor w/ midi expression control via the MP-201
6) Patch change on the Modfactor w/ midi expression control via the MP-201

The possibilities with this setup will be completely completely insane!
