I think that would definitely be pretty potent, for sure. Just be aware that with that head, you won't be able to pair a 4ohm 2x10 with another cabinet, that head isn't 2ohm stable. If you want to keep the option open for another cab, get the 8ohm... 320watts is still a pretty darn good amount of power for a 500 watt cab. Just throwing that on the wall for you! :)

I won't be paring any other cabs with it anyways. I really prefer the sound of one cab (be it 10's 12's 15's or whatever) over mix and match cabs. I'll probably get a 810 or 412 in 4ohms for when I become a rock star. :D But I think the 210 is going to do me fine for the stuff I might be doing for the next few years. Most of the places around here seem to have pretty good PA support, and a whole bunch of cabs seems kinda pointless.

My loop master arrived today, so I'll be re-wiring my board this weekend. I'm also going to be borrowing my friend's microKorg, a wannabe Moog, to see how I like that kind of thing before I drop more than a grand on a little phatty.

I'll be having a lot of fun over then next couple of weeks...

I ordered the rackmount keyboard tray from the eBay store last night. It feels good to have that taken care of. I'm excited to get my pedals hooked up in the loop.

I've spent a lot of time looking at pedals. I have changed my mind on a number of them. I was looking at the Aphex Bass Xciter but I'm worried it won't do much. I already have a big amp and have some deep sub and lows. Could I still benefit from the Xciter? I'd love to make the bass have more of an impact (so people can feel it more) but I can't imagine this doing much for that.

Going: Peavey 115BVX (hopefully...)

GAS for: Aphex Bass Xciter, Devi Ever Electric Brown, EHX Q-Tron Micro, Q-Tron, or Q-Tron+.

I really like the FX loop in the Q-Tron+. The demo of it on YouTube makes it sound like it'd be awesome to play around with. I'm probably going to go all out and get the Q-Tron+ when it comes down to it. I'll have to find a fuzz to put in that loop. ;)
