What's the first bass line you learned?

Wondering how it affects you years later.
It's one of the first lines I play when I pick up a new to me bass.
Mine was a standard blues shuffle taught to me by my then 14 yo son. I know it by SRVs version of So excited.
What's yours?
Ages ago, 1not really a line.., but i learned the entire song! Line of fire, by Journey, then, Lights, then & lovin', touchin' squeezing too. hey it was the early 80's and all the hottest chicks loved Journey! Sooo, me & my BFF would play our little medley for his Hot neighbors!! Good Times!

My first 'real' bass song that I learned was Running with the devil.
I was already playing guitar and could play a few tunes on it.
But that droning/thumping opening was magical to a 9 y/o kid
That was it! I was hooked and it has been a love of bass ever since

Damn, that is a good question. I was in high school, playing guitar, and got the offer to play bass in a better band. I went to the guitarist's house and he taught me the two originals he had and a few covers for the first rehearsal. If memory serves, we definitely played Queensryche "Take Hold of the Flame". I think Judas Priest "Living After Midnight" was one, and Heart (either Barracuda or If Looks Could Kill, not sure which one came first).
